Mounting hinges of a SCHMITZ refrigerated semi-trailer

Date of publication: 11/29/2010 RADAR has won a tender for the installation of cargo loops in a SCHMITZ refrigerated semi-trailer, announced by Avtotrans Expedition. The difficulty of this work was that the German manufacturer forbade making any changes to the vehicle design other than the factory installation, since the semi-trailer was leased. According to the assurances of German specialists, the installation of such hinges can only be performed at the manufacturing stage of the van itself, since the floor thickness is 160 mm, and the cable ducts running through the floor are located in the most unsuitable place. However, the specialists of the RADAR company, having studied all the necessary technical documentation and coordinated the changes with the manufacturer and the customer, completed this difficult work.
